A man has died following a marine incident in Rosslyn Bay overnight.
At 11pm last night, police were alerted to reports of a man overboard.
A search and rescue operation commenced involving water police, the Yeppoon Coast Guard and a rescue helicopter.
Just after 1am, a search of the shoreline located the 40-year-old River Ranch man, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
Investigations are ongoing.
