Fatal multi-vehicle crash at Baulkham Hills, NSW

Police are at the scene of a fatal multi-vehicle crash at Baulkham Hills.

Emergency services responded to reports of a crash at the intersection of Windsor Road and the M2 just after 7pm (Saturday 2 March 2019), after a Holden Commodore collided with several vehicles.

An adult passenger and a child from one vehicle have been taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition. A second child could not be revived and died at the scene.

Other motorists were injured and have been taken to hospital along with six drivers who will undergo mandatory testing.

With assistance of the Police Dog Unit and Polair, a search is underway to locate the driver of the Holden who fled following the crash.

Officers from The Hills Police Area Command have established a crime scene, with the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit on the way.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area with Windsor Road expected to be closed in both directions for some time.
