Police can now name the man who died in a crash at the intersection of Amohau Street and Tutanekai Street in Rotorua on 21 November.
He was Edward Joseph Duffy, aged 88.
Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
As part of our enquiries, we would like to hear from anyone who observed the motorcycle involved in the crash, prior to the collision with Mr Duffy’s mobility scooter.
We would also like to hear from anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage of the motorcycle prior to the crash.
