A man has died after being stabbed at Salisbury Downs last night.
About 6.45pm on Wednesday 20 September, police and ambulance crews were called to Londonderry Avenue after a man was stabbed.
The suspect, a 30-year-old man from Salisbury Downs, was located nearby a short time later and arrested without incident. He has been interviewed by Northern District Detectives and has been charged with murder. He will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today (Thursday 21 September).
Despite the effort of paramedics, the victim was not able to be saved.
