Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred at Hermit Park (Townsville) this evening.
Initial investigations indicate at about 7.20pm, a vehicle travelling outbound on Ross River Road collided with two pedestrians at the intersection with Bowen Road.
The two pedestrians, a man and a woman in their 70’s were both declared deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
