Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash in Lynford last night, 24 June.
Emergency services were called to Forest Hill Fernvale Road around 6.50pm, following reports of a crash between a Toyota Corolla and an Isuzu tip truck.
Both vehicles caught alight following the crash.
The driver and sole occupant of the Toyota, a 72-year-old Coominya man, died at the scene.
The truck driver, a 48-year-old Lowood man, was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
