Federation celebrates success in NSW Business Awards

Federation Council has congratulated three local businesses who received awards in the NSW Business Awards Event, held last Friday evening in a virtual capacity.

This year the 2021 Business Awards comprised of 13 different categories recognising growth, entrepreneurship and business success. The Regional Winners are now set to compete against the best from across New South Wales at the 2021 State Business Awards on Friday 26 November.

Federation Council, and its tourism brand, North of the Murray were proud to sponsor and feature in this year’s NSW Business Awards.

In the Federation Local Government Area, Federation Luxury Transportable Homes received a Highly Commended in the Best Business Start Up Category. Aricks Australia received a Highly Commended in the Excellence in Export Category, whilst Regional Design Service won the Best Microbusiness Category.

Federation Council Mayor, Cr Pat Bourke said it was a privilege to be involved in the NSW Business Awards and thanked local businesses for taking the time to share their stories and achievements of excellence.

“Council has been left truly inspired by not only our local winners, but all business who have exceeded in growth, entrepreneurship and experienced business success, especially in what has been such a challenging time for businesses,” he said.

“The last 20 months has been so challenging for our business community, and that is why award celebrations such as this are so important to not only recognise individual success, but to celebrate the various achievements, mate ship and inspiring commitment to ensuring our business industry thrives. Well done to all, and thank you to the Business NSW team for putting on such a great event.”
