The City’s operating hours will change over the Christmas and New Year period:
Administration Centre
The City’s administration Building and offices will close at 12noon on Friday December 24, 2021 and normal operations and business hours will resume on Tuesday January 4, 2022. Urgent assistance will still be available during the closure, on 9267 9267.
Bin collections
The City provides weekly and fortnightly bin and pre-booked verge collections throughout the festive season as per normal scheduled collection days. To find your bin day go to https://www.swan.wa.gov.au/BinDays.
Recycling Centres
The Recycling Centre – Bullsbrook and the Recycling Centre – Malaga will be operating their regular opening days and hours Thursday to Sunday 8.30am to 4.30pm except for Christmas Day – Saturday December 25, 2021 and New Year’s Day – Saturday 1 January 2022.
Libraries
The City’s libraries will be closed on Saturday, December 25 and Sunday, December 26 – however Libraries will be open across the festive season. Check individual branches for opening times. Visit City of Swan Libraries page to find out more.
Online requests
Online requests lodged via the City’s website over the festive season will be actioned once the City resumes usual business hours on Tuesday January 4, 2022.
