Civic Centre
Closed Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 December, and Wednesday 1 January
Libraries
Semaphore, Greenacres and Parks Library will be open- for a full list of times click here.
Visitor Information Centre
Open 9am-5pm daily except Christmas Day
Community Bus Service
Not operating: Monday 16 December or after 12.30pm Friday 20 December
Circuit 2 re-commences Monday 6 January
Circuit 3 re-commences Tuesday 7 January
Circuit 1 re-commences Wednesday 8 January
Waste collection
If your wheelie bin collection occurs on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, these collections will be completed one day later for the weeks beginning Monday 23 December and Monday 30 December. There will be no changes to collections occurring on Monday or Tuesday.
Service requests
Some staff will operate in key areas to ensure essential services are maintained. To report any emergencies during this period, please contact the relevant emergency authority. Non urgent service requests can be logged here, and our online request system allows you to track the progress of your request.
Over the Christmas and New Year break, our Community Safety Team will still be working as per usual. That means if your dog escapes or you see a dog wandering the streets, please give us a call straight away on 8405 6600.
They will also be available to follow up on other community safety issues that require immediate attention including backyard burning, illegal parking, illegal dumping and animal issues.
Our Rapid Response Team will be available for other emergency issues such as dangerous infrastructure or anything that could pose a threat to public safety. Please report anything of concern by calling 8405 6600.
