The largest festival of Light, Music and Ideas in the Southern Hemisphere has already wowed more than a million people in 2019 – and the last two nights will still surprise and delight guests.
The Vivid Light Walk will illuminate the CBD tonight and tomorrow night, with more than three kilometres of light art installations by over 100 artists and collaborators from 17 countries.
Creativity and innovation will also be on show at Chatswood, Taronga Zoo and Luna Park until Lights Off with lots of family friendly activities and entertainment on offer.
Minister for Jobs, Investment, Tourism and Western Sydney Stuart Ayres encouraged visitors to really immerse themselves in this unique, show-stopping festival.
“With just two nights to go, now is the time to get out and enjoy spectacular Sydney at its finest and make a night of it with some of the outstanding hospitality and events we have on offer,” Minister Ayres said.

This is the last chance to see popular Vivid Light installations and projections including the Lighting of the Sails of Sydney Opera House – with the piece Austral Flora Ballet by LA-based artist Andrew Thomas Huang – plus Robot SPACEland at Darling Harbour, Tumbalong Lights, which is an accessible playspace for all and the performance by Marri Dyin at Barangaroo.
