The Department of Human Services has issued important information for people affected by the February and March 2019 Victorian bushfires.
Disaster Recovery Allowance is now available for eligible people living in the local government areas of Alpine, Baw Baw, Benalla, Campaspe, Cardinia, East Gippsland, Indigo, Latrobe, Macedon Ranges, Mansfield, Mitchell, Murrindindi, South Gippsland, Towong, Wangaratta, Wellington, and Yarra Ranges.
Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment is also available for eligible people living in the local government areas of Baw Baw, Cardina and Latrobe.
The quickest way to make a claim is by calling 180 22 66. The line is open from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
