Financial Wellbeing Focus For 16 Days Of Activism

Manningham Council

Protecting your financial wellbeing is an important life skill. It’s our focus for this year’s annual 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, to help prevent violence against women and girls.

As part of the campaign, Manningham Council, in partnership with Whitehorse Manningham Libraries and Good Shepherd, will be presenting a series of free financial wellbeing workshops designed to help community members build knowledge, confidence and financial resilience.

These sessions will provide practical tips to help you stay informed, build confidence when navigating the digital world and reduce the risk of financial loss. We’ll also discuss where to find support.

Workshop dates:

  • Wednesday 26 November, 2 pm to 3 pm
  • Friday 27 November, 2 pm to 3 pm
  • Monday 30 November, 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm
  • Wednesday 2 December, 10 am to 11 am

16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence runs from 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) to 10 December (Human Rights Day).

This global campaign brings together people and communities worldwide to unite against violence towards women, girls and non-binary people.
