Emergency services are at the scene of a fire near Centenary Tower at Mount Gambier.
The fire was reported off Haig Drive, Mount Gambier just before 2.30am on Tuesday 25 January.
There are many walking and bike trails in the vicinity and the public are asked to stay out of the area for their own safety. Water bombers may be requested and emergency services personnel and heavy vehicles are moving quickly in the area.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
