Fire service vehicle stolen in Creswick

Moorabool Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after a fire service vehicle was stolen from Creswick over the weekend.

It is understood two male offenders gained access into a fire station on Albert Street about 9.55pm on Saturday, 24 September.

Police were told the two men stole a white 2016 Toyota Hilux dual cab and fled the scene in the vehicle.

The car had a canopy, full CFA markings and the registration 1IG2AI.

No one was in the fire station at the time of the incident.

Investigators have released an image of the vehicle in the hope that someone recognises it and can provide information on its whereabouts.
