Firearm safe stolen from home at Oxley Vale, NSW

An investigation has commenced after a safe with four firearms was stolen during a break-in at a home near Tamworth this week.

Sometime between 6.30pm on Monday 10 February 2020, and 7pm Tuesday 11 February 2020, a home in Oxley Vale, was broken into while the occupants were not home.

A Marlin bolt-action rifle, Rossi rifle, Savage rifle and a Stoeger rifle were stolen from an approved firearm safe located at the property.

The theft was reported to officers attached to Oxley Police District and an investigation has commenced.
