Firearms and drugs seized in Wodonga

Police arrested five people and seized firearms and drugs after warrants were executed in Wodonga yesterday.

Wodonga officers and detectives, with the assistance of the Dog Squad, executed three warrants at addresses in Falcon Circuit, Melrose Drive and McFarland Road about 11am.

During the searches they allegedly located three firearms, ammunition and drugs including methylamphetamine, GHB, testosterone and cannabis.

A man aged in his 30s was charged with possess a drug of dependence, property offences and attempt to commit indictable offence (traffick firearm).

A man and woman both aged in their 40s have been charged with possess a drug of dependence, traffick a drug of dependence and firearm and property offences.

All three have been remanded to appear at the Wodonga Magistrates’ Court today.

A man aged in his 40s received a caution for possess a drug of dependence and a woman aged in her 30s was charged and bailed with possess a drug of dependence.
