Recreational fishers using Blacksmiths Boat Ramp will soon benefit from a new fish cleaning table, with replacement works set to begin in September.
The existing fish cleaning table, located in the car park at the corner of Ungala Road and Pacific Highway, has reached the end of its useful life and will be replaced to ensure the facility remains safe and functional for the community.
Demolition of the existing structure is scheduled to commence on Tuesday 8 September, with construction of the replacement table expected to take approximately three weeks, weather permitting.
During this period, the fish cleaning table will be unavailable for use.
Council thanks residents and visitors for their patience while these important renewal works are carried out.
