Marcus Harris, Will Pucovski and Nic Maddinson are all unavailable due to Australia A selection, while Travis Dean and Andrew Fekete have been omitted.
Experienced duo Aaron Finch (Australian duties) and James Pattinson (rested) return to the squad, along with Eamonn Vines and youngsters Will Sutherland and Jake Fraser-McGurk who are both a chance to make their first-class debuts.
Victoria will be aiming for its first win of the 2019-20 Marsh Sheffield Shield, having had a draw and two losses from the first three rounds.
The match will commence at 10.30am AEDT on Tuesday 12 November and be live streamed on cricket.com.au.
