Northern Territory Police have arrested and charged five people following an alleged attack on a residence in Woodroffe on Friday afternoon.
At around 1:30pm, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received reports that a group of about 10 people had attended a residence on Baldwin Drive.
It is alleged an 18-year-old man attempted to incite a fight with another man known to him before members of the group armed themselves with bricks and large rocks.
The group allegedly threw the objects at the occupants and forced open the front gate, entering the yard before engaging in a physical disturbance and causing damage to the property.
Palmerston General Duties officers responded and arrested five people, aged between 18 and 58 at the scene.
They have since been charged with multiple offences, including being armed with an offensive weapon, engaging in violent conduct, aggravated assault and property damage.
The five alleged offenders have been remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Local Court on Monday, 7 September 2026.
At around 12:05pm on Saturday, police received further reports of threats involving potential violent reprisals, prompting an additional police response.
Police strongly urge those connected to the incident not to take matters into their own hands. Any threats or acts of retaliation will be treated seriously and may result in further arrests.
