Five injured in bus crash in Sydney’s east, NSW

Police are at the scene of a crash involving two buses in Sydney’s east.

About 4.15pm (Monday 27 July 2020), emergency services were called to the intersection of Anzac Parade and High Street, Kensington following reports two buses had collided.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated five people at the scene including a 25-year-old woman for serious head injuries.

The female passenger was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a serious condition.

A male bus driver was also treated at the scene for minor leg injuries before transferred to Prince of Wales Hospital.

Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are in attendance and are being assisted by the Transport Management Centre.

Anzac Parade is blocked southbound, while northbound traffic is congested

Light rail services have been suspended in both directions.
