Reduction in homes to be built

As a result, a maximum of 2,300 homes will now be built. The previous plan was for 12,700 new homes, under the three re-zonings.

The NSW Government has undertaken to work closely with council and the community to explore alternate land-use options.

Council expects to be fully briefed in the near future.
