A Euroa visitor is sporting a million-dollar smile today after driving home from the dentist with the staggering realisation he was $1.2 million richer thanks to TattsLotto.
The Victorian resident held one of the five division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4715. Each division one winning entry pocketed $1,247,390.16.
When we called to break the thrilling news, the shocked winner could barely believe what he was hearing.
“Gosh this is a life-changer!” he laughed.
“I tell you what, this is unbelievable. I’m just in shock.
“I’m just heading home from the dentist. I was going to do a few other things as well today, but I don’t think I’ll be able to do anything now.
“I’m completely numb and no, not from the dentist.
“At first, I thought ‘Crikey, who’s pulling my leg here?’
“When I tell my wife, I’m going to video her reaction, it’ll be great!”
Despite once thinking he knew exactly how he’d spend his winnings if he’d ever won the lottery, the reality of becoming a millionaire left the overwhelmed winner momentarily lost for words.
“I’ve always dreamt of all the things I’d do if I ever won but it’s quite funny, now I feel stumped,” he laughed.
“I think I’ll take a few weeks to just let it sit there while we have a good think about what comes next.
“I’d love to help out family and I’ve always said I want a 4WD.”
His winning marked 10-game entry was purchased from Euroa News & Lotto, 61 Binney Street, Euroa.
Euroa News & Lotto owner Lorraine Mawson said she was over the moon to sell a division one winning entry.
“We’re absolutely ecstatic. The last time we sold a division one winning entry was in 2018,” she said.
