Found child – Kings Langley, NSW

Police are appealing for public assistance after a child was discovered in Sydney’s north-west earlier today.

Just after 9am (Thursday 30 September 2021), a boy was located in waist deep water in a creek within Pearce Reserve at Kings Langley.

A member of the public rescued the boy and contacted emergency services.

Officers from Riverstone Police Area Command attended along with NSW Ambulance paramedics, and the uninjured boy was taken to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead for observation.

The boy has not been able to identify himself and police have been unable to locate his parents or carers.

He is non-verbal and is described as being aged between 12 and 14, about 150cm tall, of medium build, with short dark hair and brown eyes.

He is wearing a grey ‘adidas’ long sleeve shirt, blue pants, socks and is not wearing any shoes.
