Four juveniles arrested relating to incidents in Broome

Broome Detectives have charged four juveniles as a result of their ongoing investigation into several incidents that occurred between Friday night and Saturday morning, 5 to 6 April 2019. Police would like to thank the community for their assistance in helping with those investigations.

A 16-year-old boy from Cable Beach has been charged with:-

• Two counts of Aggravated Burglary;

• Two counts of Stealing; and

• One count of Posses Stolen or Unlawfully Obtained Property.

A 14-year-old boy from Cable Beach has been charged with:-

• Five counts of Aggravated Burglary;

• Five counts of Stealing;

• Two counts of Steal Motor Vehicle;

• One count of Criminal Damage; and

• One count of Unauthorised Entry to a Restricted Airside Security Zone.

A 13-year-old boy from South Hedland has been charged with:-

• Five counts of Aggravated Burglary;

• Four counts of Stealing;

• Two counts of Steal Motor Vehicle; and

• One count of Criminal Damage.

A 13-year-old boy from the Dampier Peninsula has been charged with:-

• Five counts of Aggravated Burglary;

• Five counts of Stealing;

• Two counts of Steal Motor Vehicle; and

• Two counts of Criminal Damage.

The four youths will appear via video link to the Perth Children’s Court today, 7 April 2019.

The community will see a strong police presence in Broome in an attempt to monitor and manage criminal and anti-social behaviour, we are doing everything we can to maintain a safe community for all and as always, we encourage members of the community with any information relating to any criminal or anti-social behaviour are urged to police so we can attend as soon as possible.
