Fourth bikie arrested after West Lakes arrests, South Australia

Following on from today’s arrest of three members of the Mongols Motorcycle Club, police have also arrested a fourth member at Glenelg.

Around 3pm today (Friday 13 December), Crime Gangs Task Force members attended a Glenelg address as part of the West Lakes investigation and located about 500 grams of methamphetamine.

A 28-year-old from Glenelg has been charged with trafficking a controlled drug and bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 12 February.

Detective Chief Inspector Michael Fisher, Investigations Manager at Serious and Organised Crime Branch said, “The trafficking in controlled drugs by members of OMCGs is a serious concern. SAPOL will continue to tackle organised crime groups, including Outlaw Motor Cycle Gangs who are involved in the supply of illicit drugs”.
