Fourth man charged with murder after Noble Park fatal shooting

Homicide Squad detectives have charged a fourth man following the fatal shooting of a man in Noble Park in July.

The fourth man, a 35-year-old from Doveton, was arrested this morning and subsequently charged with one count of murder, affray and intentionally causing injury.

He has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 27 April, 2023.

Those previously charged in relation to this incident include:

• A 43-year-old Springvale man charged with murder on 2 December.

• A 38-year-old Springvale man charged with murder on 28 November.

• A 25-year-old Blackburn North man charged with murder on 23 November.

The charges follow an incident on Monday 11 July when emergency services were called after reports a man had been shot at a unit on Corrigan Road about 6am.

A 36-year-old Noble Park North man died at the scene.

Investigators are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
