Fourth person charged after Seaford death

Homicide Squad detectives have charged a fourth person in relation to the death of a man in Seaford on Wednesday evening.

An 18-year-old Frankston man was arrested at an address in Carrum Downs about 4.30pm on Friday.

He was charged with affray, assault and commit an offence whilst on bail and remanded overnight to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.

His arrest comes after emergency services attended Station Street about 6.55pm on 25 November following reports a man had been stabbed.

A 26-year-old Langwarrin man was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.

Three other people have been arrested in relation to the incident.

A 21-year-old Somers woman was charged with affray and assault and will face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.

A 19-year-old Somers man was charged with murder.

He appeared at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Friday where he was further remanded to 25 March 2021 for a committal mention hearing.

A 17-year-old male from Frankston, was charged with affray, intentionally cause injury and commit offences whilst on bail.

He has been bailed to appear at a Children’s Court at a later date.

Police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the matter.
