Mitchell Youth Council, in partnership with the Department of Environment, Land Water and Planning, Mitchell Environment Advisory Committee, South West Goulburn Landcare and Mitchell Community Energy, is hosting a free viewing weekend of Damon Gameau’s film 2040: Join the Regeneration.
The film focuses on a father’s concern for his young daughter’s future and follows the filmmaker as he travels the world in search of new approaches and solutions to global warming.
Through this project, participants will be given the opportunity to comment further on the sustainability of their lives and how climate change affects them.
DELWP will also be engaging with the community on the development of the Hume Regional Climate Change Adaptation Strategy.
While we sadly had to cancel this year’s event, the screening will now be held across the weekend of Friday 19 June to Sunday 21 June.
Participants who register below will be given access to a link to watch the screen at their own leisure.
