Council has waived disposal costs for storm damaged waste for affected residents in Berry.
Berry residents will be able to dispose of storm damaged waste, free of charge on the following days and times at the Berry Waste Depot:
- Friday 8 December (8am – 4pm)
- Saturday 9 December (8am – 4pm)
- Sunday 10 December (8am – 4pm)
- Monday 11 December (8am – 4pm)
Residents will be required to sign a declaration at the waste depot that the waste disposed is a result of the extreme weather on Saturday 2 December.
In addition to free tipping, large skip bins (15 cubic metres) will be provided for affected residents unable to attend the waste depots.
Bins will be placed at the Berry Showground until 11 December. Bins will also be monitored to ensure they’re removed when full.
Free tipping will be available until the close of business on Monday 11 December.
