Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man with murder following an investigation into the death of a man in Fremantle on Tuesday 23 January 2024.
About 6.10pm, police were called to a residence on Hampton Road, where they located the body of a 49-year-old man.
Following inquiries, about 9pm that night, police arrested a 53-year-old man, who is known to the deceased man.
He has since been charged with one count of murder and is due to appear in Fremantle Magistrates Court today, Thursday 25 January 2024.
