The Minns Labor Government is bringing the 2026 Rural Women’s Gathering to more women across New South Wales with the event being livestreamed for the first time this year.

Almost all 350 tickets to the free in-person event in Narrabri this Saturday 17 October have been snapped up, with regional women encouraged to register for the last few spots.

The annual event will bring regional women from Narrabri and surrounds together to learn, celebrate and connect through a day of inspiring speakers, practical workshops and networking opportunities.

Keynote presentations and panel discussion will be livestreamed from 9am until 1.30pm via the Rural Women’s Gathering website, giving women the opportunity to join the event wherever they live or work across the state.

The livestream expands access to one of the NSW Government’s largest events for women, allowing participants who are unable to travel to the hear from leading speakers and gain practical insights.

This year’s program is themed ‘Breaking new ground’, encouraging women to embrace opportunities to grow their business, rediscover creativity, prioritise their wellbeing and explore new possibilities.

The event will be hosted by 2025 NSW Regional Woman of the Year Kirsty Evans, with special guest speakers including the 2025 Archibald Prize winner Julie Fragar, and other inspirational businesswomen, entrepreneurs and artists.

Free transport options are available for women travelling to Narrabri from Gunnedah.

To view the program, register or watch the livestream from 9am on Saturday 17 October, visit www.nsw.gov.au/rwg. There is no need to register for the livestream – simply tune in on the day.
