From Sporting Schools to after school fun, Hockey Australia has worked with Moriac Primary to keep kids engaged in sport after their Sporting Schools program finished.
Moriac Primary received a Sporting Schools grant in Term 1 2019, and all 180 students from the school participated in the Hockey program. Hockey Australia then worked with the school and the Torquay Hockey Club to coordinate a program for Term 2 so those children could continue to participate in Hockey.
The program was run on site at the school, straight after school finished, making it very convenient for parents and not have to drive their children all over town to different venues.
38 students registered for the Term 2 Hookin2Hockey program and they are loving it. Check out the video to see them in action.
