Today’s Australian reports that the CBA has a secret plan to cut over 10,000 jobs from its current workforce.
These plans would include closing 300 branches.
The FSU has written today to Matt Comyn asking him to confirm or deny these reports so workers know where they stand.
CBA needs to come clean and tell workers what their plans are. Unconfirmed speculation of this size can only lead to uncertainty and has far-reaching negative impacts on employees.
