Further arrests after clan lab located at Morphett Vale, South Australia

Following the discovery of a large scale clandestine lab at Cocks Avenue, Morphett Vale, on Tuesday 18 August, three more arrests have been made this week bringing the total arrests to seven.

On Wednesday 19 August a storage shed in the southern suburbs was searched and a clandestine laboratory was located inside.

On Monday 7 September, Detectives from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch arrested a 22-year-old man from Lockleys. He was charged with taking part in the manufacture of a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug, possessing prescribed equipment and possessing dangerous articles. He appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court and was remanded in custody until 9 December.

On Wednesday 9 September, Detectives from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch arrested a 22-year-old man from Mitchell Park and a 22-year-old man from Clovelly Park. They were both charged with taking part in the manufacture of a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug. They were both bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 26 October.

The investigation is ongoing and police have not ruled out further searches or arrests.
