Further arrests after stabbing at Broadmeadows supermarket

Hume Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a further three teens after a boy was allegedly stabbed at a supermarket in Broadmeadows on 15 July.

Police were called to the Pascoe Vale Road store to reports of a brawl between approximately 10-15 youths about 6.20pm.

A 16-year-old Dallas boy was located with a stab wound to the upper body and transported to hospital where he remains with life-threatening injuries.

Two Coolaroo males aged 15, and 18, were arrested yesterday and are expected to be charged on summons.

An 18-year-old Jacana man was arrested today and charged with intentionally cause serious injury in circumstances of gross violence, recklessly cause serious injury in circumstances of gross violence, affray and other related offences.

He appeared at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today and has been remanded in custody.
