Major Crime Investigation Branch detectives on Thursday arrested and charged a 39 year old male and a 33 year old male in connection with the unlawful detention and aggravated assault that allegedly occurred on 5 February 2019 at North Plympton.
The arrested men and two other suspects were arrested and charged with these offences in early 2019 however the charges were withdrawn in September 2019.
A cold case review of the investigation by Task Force Southern has resulted in today’s arrests that follow the arrests earlier this week of a 25 year old female and 44 year old male.
The males charged yesterday did not apply for bail. The 39 year old appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court yesterday afternoon and the 33 year old will appear in AMC today.
Task Force Southern Detectives continue to investigate the death of Trevor King, who was found deceased in the water at West Lakes on 4 January 2020 along with the disappearances and suspected murders of Robert Atkins who disappeared in November 2020 and Jeffrey Mundy who disappeared in December 2020.
