Further easing of restrictions from 19 November

Following the Victorian Premier’s announcement, a number of State Government public health restrictions will be further eased from 11.59pm tonight, Thursday 18 November.

Under Phase D of the National Roadmap, hospitality and entertainment venues can operate at maximum capacity subject to vaccination requirements and COVIDSafe measures being in place.

Council’s Bunjil Place precinct, including the Customer Service Centre, Library, Box Office, Gallery and Café, will still require evidence of full vaccination status as a condition of entry, unless you have a valid medical exemption and members of the public are no longer required to wear face masks. Seating at the Café will now be open at full capacity.

The Bunjil Place theatre will also be able to run at full capacity with evidence of full vaccination status required as a condition of entry, unless you have a valid medical exemption.

The Cranbourne Customer Service Centre will continue to operate 10.00am to 2.00pm, Monday to Friday. In line with the State Government requirements for essential services, vaccination status will not need to be demonstrated, however face masks are still required.

Council’s playgrounds, parks and outdoor skateparks, including Wilson Botanic Park and the grounds of the Old Cheese Factory are open and masks are not required. The Wilson Botanic Park visitor centre remains closed at this time.
