Fusion5 soars into 2019 with Microsoft Dynamics 365

Following hot on the heels of another year of stellar growth in its Microsoft Dynamics 365 practice, Australasian business solutions company, Fusion5, is delighted to announce the acquisition of Brisbane-based Dynamics Group.

Established in 2017, Dynamics Group specialises in delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. Owner and founder, Ross Guthrie and his team join Fusion5’s Brisbane office on 1 February 2019. Guthrie takes on the role of Fusion5 CRM business development manager, and his team will supplement Fusion5’s fast-growing Microsoft Dynamics 365 practice in Queensland.

The purchase further boosts Fusion5’s impressive 800+ client list with the addition of Dynamics Group’s strong customer base. “We’re delighted to offer our customers even more Dynamics 365 business growth strategies and resources while retaining the strong and valued relationships we’ve developed with each of them,” says Guthrie. “Fusion5 is a genuinely safe pair of hands for any organisation or business looking to maximise or consolidate their investment in the Microsoft product stack, and we’re excited to become part of their success story.”

Fusion5 Executive Director Sven Martin says the addition of Dynamics Group to the Brisbane office is a prime example of Fusion5’s commitment to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Finance & Operations at a regional level, as well as fulfilling its promise to meet the customer-driven demand for a new partner option.

“We’re determined to have experienced resources on the ground for Dynamics 365 and Modern Workplace,” says Martin. “It’s critical we provide a consistent level of capability, service and support wherever our customers are, and from wherever we’re based.”

This commitment to the regions echoes Fusion5’s overall determination to be one of Australasia’s leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 partners. The company has gone from no Microsoft presence at all, to being one of its hottest partners in just over three years.

The significant growth and success of Fusion5’s three-year-old Dynamics CRM practice meant the company was named as a member of the prestigious Inner Circle for Microsoft Dynamics for two years in a row in 2018 and 19. Membership of this elite group is based on sales results that place Fusion5 in the top tier of Microsoft partners worldwide. It also recognises Fusion5’s high standard of excellence in delivering value-adding solutions that help organisations innovate, profit and grow. The company was runner-up in the global 2018 Microsoft Dynamics Customer Service Partner of the Year Category, and a finalist in the local 2018 Microsoft New Zealand Partner Award in the Business Applications Award category.

From a standing start just two years ago, Fusion5 had an exceptional degree of success and growth within its Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations practice. The Australasian team started with just two senior consultants, now has 25 people, and is still recruiting in both countries. From zero customers they now boast 30, including some of Australia and New Zealand’s most iconic companies.

Fusion5’s steady business growth overall is supported by strategic purchases of smaller partners to strengthen its solution offerings and capabilities at the regional level. The most recent acquisition was Precise Business Solutions in Western Australia in November 2018.

So, with Dynamics Group already on board, and new opportunities already lining up, Fusion5’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 customers can expect even more excitement from 2019.
