Futsal Geelong have launched a new tool aimed at making Futsal Geelong and Geelong Soccer Sevens programs more accessible to the Geelong community.
The ‘Futsal Geelong / Soccer Sevens – Social Players’ Facebook group is designed for players in the region to connect with each other, and create more opportunities to play.
New and existing members are encouraged to join the group and be social. This is a place where players/teams can:
- search for new players / team mates
- look to join an existing team / start a new team
- connect with existing teams that are looking for casual fill-ins.
The group was made operational mid-July 2019 and has quickly grown to over 100 members. Futsal Geelong expect this number to continue to grow rapidly as awareness of the group increases.
Futsal Geelong and Geelong Soccer Sevens are programs owned and delivered by the City of Greater Geelong. Hosted at Barwon Valley Activity Centre and Leisuretime Sports Precinct.
