Mosman Art Gallery has scooped another award with its Three Views exhibition, by acclaimed First Nations artists Blak Douglas, Karla Dickens and Jason Wing and curator Djon Mundine OAM, winning its category for Indigenous Project or Keeping Place in the prestigious Museums & Galleries National Awards.
The series of poignant, dark and humorous installations were designed to inspire deep reflection at the historic armoured casements site at Georges Head. The exhibition was one of two successful projects staged by Mosman Art Gallery for the 2020 Sydney Festival program in January.
