With the first ever Geelong Design Week touching down in
2020, the City of Greater Geelong is inviting applications from organisations,
community groups and individuals to participate as event hosts.
Geelong Design Week 2020, to be held from 19 to 29 March,
will celebrate how design impacts our daily lives and how doing it differently
can make our lives better.
It will feature workshops, talks, tours and exhibitions that explore new ideas,
challenge what’s possible and showcase our achievements in design and
innovation.
The event will raise awareness of Geelong’s global
recognition as a UNESCO City of Design and our commitment to building a more
sustainable, resilient and inclusive community.
It is a key milestone in the
journey to achieving the community’s clever and creative vision for Greater
Geelong.
