Getting to Real Festival made easy: hop aboard with Busways

Penrith’s largest festival is returning this weekend from Friday 15 September to Sunday 17 September, at Tench Reserve Penrith.

Large crowds are anticipated throughout the weekend, and public transport is recommended as the first option for travel.

Real Festival is pleased to partner with Busways once again as Diamond Sponsor and Official Transport Partner.

Busways are providing a hassle-free public transport solution for festival attendees. Access the festival with ease using FREE shuttle buses running on a continuous loop throughout the festival weekend. The buses are accessible and can accommodate prams and strollers, ensuring that everyone can join in the fun.

Continue rolling with Busways when you arrive at Real Festival at the Roller Rink, where skate enthusiasts, young and old are invited to pre-book a 30-minute session including skate hire.

Penrith Mayor Tricia Hitchen said with the continuous shuttle bus loop service, attendees can rely on convenient transportation to and from the event, ensuring a stress-free and enjoyable festival experience.

“We are thrilled to have Busways as our diamond sponsor and transport partner,” Cr Hitchen said.

“Their dedication to sustainability and community engagement perfectly complements the values of Real Festival. With their support, we can offer attendees a convenient and eco-friendly way to get to the festival while reducing the environmental impact of our event.

“Don’t miss out on the excitement at Real Festival this year! Getting there is a breeze with Busways, and the roller rink promises an unforgettable experience.”

Busways Penrith Depot Manager Georgette Golding said Busways is thrilled to be partnering with Penrith City Council again to help people get to and from Real Festival.

“As a Diamond Sponsor, Busways will be hosting the fun, free Roller Rink and running a free shuttle bus service each day to ensure you can get to the festival with ease,” Ms Golding said.

“Three of these will be electric buses – if you’ve never ridden one before, you’ll enjoy the quiet, smooth and eco-friendly ride,” Ms Golding said.
