Nillumbik is proud to be supporting the Christmas Concert in the Park, to be held on Sunday 17 December from 6pm – 8.30pm.
The free concert in Alistair Knox Park Eltham, presented by the Rotary Club of Eltham, will run simultaneously with a twilight craft market in Library Place organised by Diamond Valley Community Support from 4pm – 8pm.
This fun, family friendly event will feature entertainment by school and community groups, as well as professional entertainers, and of course, a visit from Santa.
Along with planning the Christmas Concert, Rotary are busy preparing for the 2024 Rotary Eltham Festival, which will held in November in 2024. The successful 2023 event was held in March this year after being postponed in 2022 due to flooding and 2020/21 due to Covid.
Nillumbik Mayor, Councillor Ben Ramcharan said it was fabulous to have such amazing community groups, like Rotary, in Nillumbik, who dedicate their time to organise events for the community.
“The Christmas Concert promises to be a great way to celebrate with friends and family. I encourage everyone to come along and enjoy the festivities,” Cr Ramcharan said.
