Glenburn Community Planning launch dinner huge success

Glenburn Community Planning launch dinner.JPG

More than 70 people from Glenburn came together on Saturday 11 February at the Glenburn Hall to connect with one another, and to talk about Glenburn, and think of ideas and projects that will help make their community even stronger.

Almost 100 ideas were generated during the launch event, which will help shape the Glenburn Community Plan.

Community Planning is all about putting communities in the driver’s seat to collaborate and plan for the future. With a little support from Council during a series of upcoming events, Glenburn residents will identify opportunities and priorities for their town to help them develop their own Community Plan.

There are still plenty of opportunities to get involved in the Glenburn Community Planning Program. Come along to the following meetings at the Glenburn Hall, where we’ll be talking more about some of the hot topics and ideas from the launch event.

  • Wednesday 22 February at 2.00 pm
  • Wednesday 1 March at 5.00 pm
  • Wednesday 15 March at 7.00 pm

We are also encouraging you to save the date for the Glenburn Community Planning Dinner, where the community will decide on projects that get included in the Glenburn Community Plan.
