Globe Lane music event will tug on heart strings this Valentine’s Day – Wollongong

Grab your valentine, your gal-entines and your pal-entines and head into Globe Lane, Wollongong for an afternoon of free, live, and local music.

On Sunday 13 February, Wollongong CBD’s Globe Lane will host a free creative live music event as a prelude to Valentine’s Day. There’s a lot to love with a line-up of talented artists including Bec Sandridge, Cry Club, Totty, Phebe Starr, Jack R Reilly, and Chelsey Dagger (DJ).

“It’s no secret that the identity of Globe Lane is evolving as Council works to help activate this vibrant space. The Lover’s Lane Music event is just one way we’re working to support the cultural identity of our city and bring life, colour, music and fun to the heart of Wollongong CBD,” Wollongong City Council Director Community Services Kerry Hunt said.

“This event will help support our local creative industries, who we know have had a challenging and quiet two years. It’ll mean a lot for these artists to have our community’s support, so if you’re looking for some excellent weekend entertainment, why not book a ticket and enjoy Wollongong’s local music scene.

“We’re pleased to provide this free and accessible event for our community to enjoy. If you’re attending, we ask that you participate safely and continue to look after one another. That means following the Public Health Orders by considering wearing a mask, socially distancing, sanitising your hands and staying home if you feel unwell in any way.”
