Of six shortlisted finalists, four are now official finalists in the 2023 Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria’s Tidy Towns & Cities – Sustainability Awards!

Recognising environmental initiatives, achievements and community spirit, the 41st annual award ceremony will be held on Monday 23 October.

Out of the ten categories, Mornington Peninsula Shire projects are finalists in:

Litter:

  • Smoke Free Environment trial (Safety Beach)

Education:

  • Repower Mornington Peninsula

Environment:

  • ‘A Coastal Wetland’ Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD)

Energy:

  • Solar and Energy Bulk Buy program

Congratulations to two local Mornington Peninsula finalists, Lily Setnik and Maddie and Ava, who are finalists in the Young Legends category!
