The Community Centre Working Party has deliberated on potential locations for a new Community Centre.
Despite limitations, the former works depot site at 2 Bourke Street was deemed most suitable. However, due to significant costs and the current economic climate with diminishing grant funding, the project has been put on hold indefinitely, or until viable, significant external funding is available.
