Following an open public tender process, the Hodgman majority Liberal Government has recently finalised contracts with Westpac Banking Corporation and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia for the provision of Government Banking Services from 1 August 2019 until 31 July 2024.
The Westpac Banking Corporation will provide Transactional Banking, Supplementary Revenue Collection and Card Services to the Government.
The Commonwealth Bank of Australia will provide School Banking Services to the Government.
The contracts will deliver a best practice banking environment for the Government and will continue to provide Government agencies with efficient and effective banking services.
