Quotes from Her Honour the Honourable Vicki O’Halloran AO, Administrator of the Northern Territory.

“The opportunity to welcome people to Government House, particularly those who have never been, is something my husband Craig and I value greatly in this role.”

“People often come to Government House for special events and are reserved to one room or area; annual Open Days allow people to explore the beautiful House and gardens at their leisure and take in the history at their own pace.”

“With so many free and inclusive activities, this is a great outing for the entire family, whilst also educating them on the incredible history of Government House.”

“Her Majesty has always held a strong connection with the people of the Northern Territory, so it is wonderful to host our Open Days this year in her Platinum Jubilee month.”

“The Queen’s Bedroom, named after Her Majesty’s overnight stay in 1982, is always a highlight for people, and we will have the visitor’s books she signed on display.”
