BASSINTHEGRASS, the Northern Territory’s biggest music festival, is in full swing at Darwin’s iconic Mindil Beach, and Early Bird tickets for next year’s epic event are on sale now.

BASSINTHEGRASS 2023 will take place on 20 May, marking the fifth year since the festival moved from its original home at The Amphitheatre to allow more people to attend.

This year’s event has broken records, with 16,000 music fans enjoying 12 hours of non-stop entertainment.

The much-loved festival has become a must-do event for Territorians and is becoming increasingly so for interstaters, attracting the nation’s biggest music acts to the Top End and routinely selling out.

A limited number of Early Bird tickets for BASSINTHEGRASS 2023 are on sale now for just $85 (plus booking fee). Once they are gone, General Admission tickets will be on sale for $120, before Final Release tickets go live for $135.

This year’s event sold out weeks in advance, so visit [] to secure your spot at BASSINTHEGRASS 2023.

Quotes from Chief Minister, Natasha Fyles:

“BASSINTHEGRASS is the Territory’s biggest music festival and, even though it keeps on growing, it keeps on selling out! This includes more and more interstaters heading to the Top End to experience this beachside festival, which has really come of age. This is great news for the Territory, with visitors contributing millions of dollars to our economy.

“BASSINTHEGRASS 2021 delivered a $14.5 million economic stimulus for the Territory, including $12 million of new money. With more attendees this year, BASSINTHEGRASS 2022 looks set to deliver even more when it comes to the economy.

“Once these Early Bird tickets are gone, they’re gone, so grab yours now to avoid disappointment when BASS rolls around next year. It’ll be here before you know it and you don’t want to be that friend who misses out.”
